Tri-Cities paying the highest gas prices in the state
TRI-CITIES, Wash. - A stark contrast from the summer time highs when we traded back and forth with Spokane for the cheapest of the bunch.
Today's average is $3.69 a gallon which is far better than the $3.98 you paid a month ago.
Seattle is almost a dime less on average. Tacoma's all the way down at $3.45 a gallon.
The volatile pricing always confounds drivers.
"Why is the gas cheaper here than out here? I was thinking it should be a little more expensive in Seattle since everything else is," said driver John McClain.
Forbes reports prior to 2004 we saw a daily price swing of three cents or more just 6 percent of the time.
Today prices jump that much 50 percent of the time.

How many polititions that were "looking" into price fixing, just got re-elected ?Â
High gas prices = good economy
Low gas prices = poor economy
I'd like to see the gas prices about 2.99 9/10

I'm afraid we havn't seen nothing compared to what's coming.
