"The Dome" comes down
PASCO -- A Pasco landmark was turned into rubble today. KEPR was there while the Chevrolet dome was demolished.

Dozens of people watched the almost 40-year-old structure get leveled. You could see the dome from Highway-395.

It had gotten fragile over the years and needed to come down. Owner Bill McCurley started working at the dealership just four years after it was completed.

"The dome has been important to us. a lot of years of paying for it and then seeing it go down, so there's a lot of memories, but I'm really excited about the future and not thinking too much on the past," he says.

McCurley got to take the first swing on track-ho. He intends to build a bigger, two story show room to replace the dome.
