PASCO, Wash. - Clearly the demand was there. Volunteers "deviled" more than 1200 eggs and carved out 20 turkeys.

People who helped tell us it's the only way to spend Thanksgiving.

"It means that I as a Christian can do what needs to be done, to make sure that others who don't have will have," said David Clubb.

Meantime, people staying at the mission say they're grateful for the support and that it's starting off their holiday season on the right track.

Jeff is a resident. He said, "For a lot of us who don't really have families that we can go to it's nice that we can go to it's nice that we have a place that can actually care for us like that."

In total around 400 people showed up.
