Ten percent of all marriages in Benton County are same-sex
TRI-CITIES, Wash. -- KEPR learned 10 percent of marriages in Benton County are between same-sex couples. There have been 91 since the law passed in Washington state.

In Franklin County, 3 percent of all marriages are between same-sex couples. There have been just 10 since gay marriage was legalized. King County has the most gay marriages in the state by far, with almost 3,500. That is over a quarter of all marriages taking place in the county.
