Still no charges against Michael Johnson
KENNEWICK, Wash. -- It could be weeks before we know if a man will face criminal charges for the death of a pedestrian in Kennewick.

Michael Johnson was arrested on suspicion of vehicular homicide. Police say he was street racing when he hit and killed Nina Howard. Johnson was released after prosecutors declined to file charges in the initial window. Prosecutors say it could be weeks before a decision is made. Howard was crossing West 27th when she was hit.
