PASCO, Wash. - The Pasco Specialty Kitchen is an 11,000 square foot facility certified by the state health department.

It's equipped with industrial sized appliances giving caterers the extra manpower and equipment they need.

They've recently received a $50,000 grant to stay afloat during hard economic times.

"It's the only thing that keeps the cost down for my clients so that it can be an affordable small business venture for them," said executive director Victoria Silvernail.

The kitchen space is often rented by the hour. Vendors often sell their items at the farmer's markets in Pasco and Richland.
