TRI-CITIES, Wash. - By mid-morning though most of the snow had been plowed off the main streets. A lot of parking lots around the Tri-Cities were very full.

Quite a contrast to the weeks leading up to the holiday. Still a couple of people we talked to say they had to get out..despite the weather conditions.

Brandon Emch said, "Well I came from Spokane so I mean, 3 or 4 inches isn't too bad compared to 16 inches so yeah, you got to feed the kids so you got to come out no matter what weather there is."

Crews will be out again tonight to make sure the roads stay safe.
