PROSSER, Wash. -- Seven people were rushed to the hospital after an evacuation from Prosser High School. A chemical smell was coming from a bathroom. The fire department was called to investigate the strange odor.

Three teachers and four students needed to be evaluated. Crews gave the all-clear after about 20 minutes, and students were let back into the school.

An administrator said the evacuation went smoothly.

"Just had a review with our community responders, and so we were all up-to-date and ready to follow those procedures,"said Assistant Superintendent Mary Snitily.

It's not yet clear what caused the smell.
