Pasco's newest elementary school under construction
PASCO, Wash. -- Pasco is also starting work on its newest elementary school. It doesn't have a name yet and is just being referred to as Elementary School Number 13.

The school is under construction off Road 52. It's one of three buildings the district hopes to have open by next school year.

Based on enrollment, this building is technically already full. It was paid for with a bond passed earlier this year.

“The community allowing us to do this is a great advantage and we've still going have some portables and so forth, but as growth continues, we need to find classrooms, and we're going do the best we can do,” said Assistant Superintendent of Operations John Morgan.

The new building will hold 750 students. The total cost is around $17 million.
