Pasco has a new deal for a local field.

It's a trade-off between the city and Pasco Youth Baseball.

Teams get access to Boothe Fields on A street. Rather than pay rent, they'll keep up the grounds and pay for utilities instead.

Rick Terway of the Pasco Parks Department says, "The city owns the property, but the league does the maintenance and long term care of the facility is done, so that saves the city quite a bit of money."

The city council signed off on the ten year deal for the fields earlier this week.
