Man in Pasco hotel shooting wanted for a murder out of Spokane
PASCO, Wash. -- An update to a shooting in Pasco we first told you about Saturday night. The man, officials say, accidentally shot himself outside the Best Western, is wanted for a murder out of Spokane.

Detectives believe 26-year-old Brandon Mellon is responsible for a deadly shooting that happened on Friday night. The name of the victim has not yet been released. Officials say Mellon fled to Pasco.
He is now at a Portland hospital being treated for his self-inflicted injuries and is listed in critical condition.

Guests at the hotel told KEPR they were coming back from dinner when they saw the scene.

"I thought something happened, something bad must have happened, I was pretty worried, hopefully wasn't anything with out room. We thought something caught on fire. I was just surprised cause I mean out of all the hotels, like this one? We just stayed in here, I was like wow that's really surprising," said hotel guest, Jonathan Diodoro.

The hotel refused to comment on the incident.
