Karen Lange returns to work

Karen Lange returns to work
PENDLETON, Ore. -- A Pendleton woman returned to work this week -- more than two months after she was attacked on the river walk.

Police believe Karen Lange is a victim of the same man who murdered a teenager in Pendleton last year.

Lange works at a law firm. She's met with a neurologist who expects the 52-year old to make a complete recovery.

Her husband is confident this time next year -- you won't even be able to tell what she's been through.

Amazing, considering there was a time it wasn't clear she'd survive -- or even speak again.

Lange needs another surgery in December. Her suspected attacker is still in jail, set for trial next month.
