Karen Lange ready for final surgery
PENDLETON, Or. -- KEPR continues to follow the amazing recovery of a Pendleton woman who was randomly attacked this summer.

Karen Lange received unexpected news this week. Her final surgery is a go. This is key because it will allow doctors to put a piece of synthetic skull back onto her head.

Lange spent months in the hospital after she was hit in the head with a pipe.

At a checkup this week -- her doctors were astounded by her fast recovery. She'll have the surgery after the holidays.

Accused killer Lukah Chang is charged with the attack on Lange and also the murder of a Pendleton teenager last year.
