RICHLAND, Wash. -- One of our local sports bars won't be able to serve alcohol for the next few days.

KEPR learned Jack-Sons along George Washington Way in Richland had its liquor license suspended temporarily. The Liquor Control Board says the restaurant over-served a customer.

It's not yet clear if the bar has been cited before. The suspension lasts through the weekend, which includes NCAA Final Four games, NASCAR and baseball.

The bar's Facebook page says they're using this time to remodel, clean and roll out a new menu.

This only affects the Richland Jack-Sons.

A Richland police captain said he's only seen a handful of liquor license suspensions in the last 30 years.
