History a big part of Pasco's future

History a big part of Pasco's future
PASCO, Wash. - Pasco is looking towards the future by saving a bit of the past, today.

City leaders are working on a Historic Preservation Plan.

An outside firm will help establish a historic district. The group will pay special attention to old buildings like the courthouse and post office.

Residents say its about time.

Ruben Peralta has lived in Pasco all his life. He said, "I want my children to see what I saw growing up here. I actually, this is where I rode my bike. I lived not too far from downtown Pasco. This area brings a lot of good memories of my teenage years."

The railroad museum will also get a re-do and be moved to the Lewis Street overpass once that project is complete.
