Franklin county puts pot gardens on hold
FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash. - Leaders signed off on a moratorium to give Franklin County 60 days to figure out how to deal with marijuana gardens used for medicinal purposes.
The idea is make sure the county follows Federal laws, rather than state.
Franklin County doesn't want to risk losing federal grants by not following federal law which still says possessing pot is illegal.

So i guess since Franklin county is so concerned with federal law then why aren't they enforcing federal immigration laws in say Pasco.Or issuing same sex wedding licenses,There is a federal law that defines marriage between a man and women. Then do the people who work for the citizens of Franklin county and Washington state to abide by Washington state laws they decide whether they like them or not. They don't get to pick the ones they like or don't like.Where do they think they have the right to waste taxpayer money to prosecute cases that will be thrown out. The president said that the feds have better things to do,so has Franklin county decided the are now the feds?Seems to me franklin county thinks there above the law somehow. It is legal to possess  pot in Washington state......all of it!
Is this for real or another misquote by kepr? So does this mean that Franklin County in its entirety is a doughnut whole?  Â
