Foreclosures in Tri-Cities make a jump
TRI-CITIES - Foreclosure rates here in the Tri-Cities are seeing an up-tick since this time last year. We talked to experts who say it might not be as bad as it sounds.

Foreclosures among outstanding mortgages rose nearly half a percent compared to last December. Wayne Langford, a regional spokesman for Windermere Real Estate weighed in. "The idea of more people losing their homes isn't rattling agents. It's certainly nothing to be concerned about. It's not going to be any kind of impact on our marketplace. We got way too much going on for us to just have a handful of foreclosure houses come on the market and have any kind of impact on the market what so ever. It's not going to happen.”

Foreclosure rates for the Tri-Cities are nearly two percent below the national average.
