TRI-CITIES, Wash. - Despite all the danger fireworks stands will be open for business by next week.

Many wonder question whether the risk is worth it.

Despite the season so far reps from the cities tell KEPR there are no plans to limit or restrict firework sales this summer.

Crews are gearing up for the worse.

Benton County Fire marshal Ken Williams said, "It's my understanding that some of the fire districts are going to be having trucks located in certain spots so they can have a quick response."

Fireworks are legal in Richland, West Richland and Benton City. Set them off elsewhere and you could be fined or hit with a misdemeanor.

Remember, only fireworks bought in that city can be set off in that city.
