KENNEWICK, Wash. -- KEPR has a follow-up on the effort to make Clearwater Avenue safer. The "Safe Clearwater" project has a final open house on March 19.

The city is seeking feedback on ways to improve the five-mile stretch that sees a number of accidents in Kennewick. Just two weeks ago, there were two separate accidents a day apart on Clearwater. Their biggest priorities are the intersections with Arthur, Columbia Center Boulevard, and Union. Kennewick is using a two-million dollar grant to improve safety.

For anyone who can't make the open house, the project committee will be offering virtual open houses online on the 20th.
