KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Tri-Cities Cancer Center got a generous gift from a local business Wednesday morning.

The owners of our local Dutch Bros. presented a check for more than 17 thousand dollars to the center.

The money was raised during the "Pink Out Day" fundraiser. All proceeds at the coffee stand went to the center that day.

Dutch Bros. says they're always looking for ways to give back to the community.

"Every body knows somebody now days that's dealing with or dealt with cancer and so, to be able to work with an organization like this that's involved all over the tri-cities and all the hospitals and everything. it's a perfect match for us," says local owner Nate Frary.

This was the third "Pink Out Day" fundraiser.

In total, the local coffee shop has raised more than 33-thousand dollars for the center.

This year's money will help pay for 170 mammograms in the Tri-Cities.
