RICHLAND, Wash. - Flames quickly spread along I182 and the Columbia Point Golf Course.

Crews were on the scene in minutes and discovered someone already took control of the situation the groundskeeper.

The worker quickly turned on the sprinklers and helped put the hot spots out. A spark from a car muffler was all that was needed to begin this blaze in the dry brush and extreme heat.

Flames were put out in minutes but the smoke caused a big traffic delay.

Additional water trucks were called out to the course and the highway.
