Carousel of Dreams set to install horses
KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Carousel of Dreams is almost complete. Installing the antique restored horses is one of the last steps.

The horses were all restored by two women here in Washington state. It took about five years and cost around $300,000. The horses are all a century old and hand-carved. Each is unique, including one that appears to be a Seahawk - decades before the team even formed.

"There is a horse that has a Seahawk on it. 103 years ago, Charles chose to make what we call a Seahawk horse, and it's pretty special," said board chairman Eric VanWinkle.

The horses will be installed in about a month. The Carousel is scheduled to open in May.
