Aunt Franny's Toys closes its doors
RICHLAND, Wash. -- A long time staple of Richland's Uptown Shopping Center is closing its doors.

Aunt Franny's Toys opened back in 2000.

For many years it was the only independently-owned toy store in the Tri-Cities.

Owner Frances Finfrock says she is closing because her husband accepted a job out of state.

She didn't want to sell the store, only to see her namesake fail. Frances says she'll miss making kids smile the most.

"Everyday is just a kick. i got to watch kids come in and play, i got to hear them laugh, i got to see them smile. it just, everyday being here is a joy," Frances says.

The store will be open until the first of February while they sell what's left of their inventory.

Everything in the store is already 20 percent off.
