TRI-CITIES, Wash. - Allegiant stopped service from Pasco to LAX last August.

It wasn't for lack of popularity but lack of gate space in LA. That's resolved and the flights can get going again.

A big help for plans to remodel the airport.

Airport director Ron Foraker told KEPR, "It means more money coming into the port so that ultimately we can, you know, do this expansion project that we truly, really need."

There will be two flights a week once service starts. More could be added if demand grows.
