KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Richland Kennel Club held its 80th annual dog show in Columbia Park this weekend. Dogs from all across the region came to compete...even as far as Alaska and Colorado.

Organizers say around 3,000 people attended, along with 1,000 dogs. One whole day of the three-day dog show was dedicated to corgi's. The other two days included all types of canine breeds.

"Personally, had a very big winning weekend so a lot of the dogs we showed won best of breeds and group placements...Lefty's still in training so he's got a ways to go," said Dog Owner/Handler, Randy Schepper.

Schepper has been competing for 40 years. Lefty placed second in the open round.
