Car Accident North of Walla Walla Kills One
Highway Patrol officers say a two-car collision two miles north of Walla Walla on 125 resulted in the death of an Oregon man Monday evening.
Cody James Lynch, age 23 of Waitsburg, was injured. Lynch was driving a 1995 Chevy Cavalier.
Eric Wayne Banks, age 52 of Walla Walla, was also injured, driving a 2008 Honda Civic.
Charles Wallace, age 58 of Milton-Freewater, Oregon, died at Harborview Medical on Monday. He was a passenger in the Civic.
Officers say no drugs or alcohol were involved during the accident on Friday. Lynch was not paying attention while driving southbound on 125, and struck Banks' car head on.
