The Diviners, an American drama
Richland High School Theatre Arts presents "The Diviners," on October 12, 13, 18, and 20 at the RHS Auditorium. Performance times are 7:30 PM on October 12, 13, and 18 and 2:00 PM on October 20.
This play is the story of a disturbed young man and his friendship with a disenchanted preacher in Indiana in the early 1930s. When the boy was young he almost drowned. This trauma and the loss of his mother in the same accident has left him deathly afraid of water. The preacher, set on breaking away from a long line of family preachers, is determined not to do what he does best.
This show is recommended for those ages 13 and up.
