Mike Moreside, Shane Pierone and John Maxwell literally ran into each other playing hockey in Yakima and found out they had a common musical interest. Mike and Shane played hockey and music together since highschool. When John showed up at the ice rink they now had a full line up and just had to find a drummer. Being like hockey-minded they named their band "Black Biscuit" after a slang term for a hockey puck. The group released its CD "Blueline" on Cd Baby and Apple Itunes in 2008 with drummer Troy Woody. The alt-powerpop-rock style of the band has been described as "Buddy Holly Meets Generation X" but the band would just call it energy-filled fun Rock and Roll that will make you want to dance.
