Chelsea Kopta
Chelsea joined KEPR TV News in September 2006. She covers stories in the Franklin and Walla Walla Counties. She grew up in Edmonds, Washington, but has lived all over the United States from California to South Carolina. Chelsea is a graduate of the University of Washington where she earned her BA degree in Journalism. While attending UW, she wrote for the university paper "The Daily" and freelanced for several local newspapers. She most recently came to us from KOMO 4 TV in Seattle where she worked as an intern, part-time producing and promotional writing in the news department as well as a producing for the KOMO 4 sports team. Chelsea enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She also loves to travel, lounge at the beach, play volleyball, write, and watch football games (Go Huskies!). Chelsea volunteers for the Girl Scouts of the USA. |
