Matt Finn was born and raised in Pennsylvania where he attended Temple University in Philadelphia, majoring in broadcast journalism.

Prior to KIMA/KEPR, Matt worked as a producer at the NBC affiliate, WBRE-TV, in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA. He also worked several internships including one with anchor Tracy Davidson at NBC 10 in Philadelphia, as a reporter for philadelphianeighborhoods.com and as PR reporter for the Dean’s Office at the Fox School of Business.

Since a young age Matt knew he was going to work in the field of broadcast, so he’s excited to be working as a reporter covering stories that affect, and can ultimately help, our viewers.

The case against Tracy Culton has been dismissed, the Yakima County Prosecutor's Office announced Friday. She was being held in connection with the aggravated murders of three people in West Valley. This means no one is charged with the murders of the Goggin family.

A 15-year-old boy is charged with first-degree murder in connection with Tuesday's fatal downtown shooting, police said. The shots rang out at S. 4th Street and Chestnut Avenue shortly before 6:00 p.m.

Detectives said 26-year-old Octavio Rangel of Yakima was shot in the head. He died at the scene.
