Ryan Simms loves living in Washington! He joined the Action News team as a reporter and was eventually promoted to weekend anchor.
In his time at Action News, Ryan has covered such stories as the White Swan fire, the Nile Valley landslide and severe flooding in the Yakima Valley.
He's a proud graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he received a bachelor’s degree from the Hank Greenspun School of Journalism. During his time at UNLV, he anchored and reported for “Rebcast-TV,” which is UNLV’s signature news program.
In his spare time he loves running along the Columbia River, trying new restaurants and watching repeats of his favorite Seinfeld episodes!
