Update on emergency airplane landing
PASCO, Wash. - The plane that made an emergency landing in Pasco last night is still stuck here, but the 183 passengers were flown to Seattle.

KEPR was first on the scene last night as the large jet landed in the Tri-Cities airport.

A problem with the heat sensor called for the emergency landing of the 757.

Passengers spent the night in the terminal.

Firefighters from Benton County made them a sack lunch. The airport snack stand was eventually opened.

Airport official, Ron Foraker said, "Having a bad experience ended up on a little bit of a positive note from the support of the community."

Mechanics had been working on the aircraft most of the day. But it's still at the airport at the moment.
