FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash. -- Testimony continued Wednesday in the state's case against a Pasco sex predator.

Ronald Love spent 13 years behind bars for attempting to rape a man. Now he wants out.

Love completed his sentence for his crime but has been kept in jail. A state law allows Washington to hold people still considered a threat.

A forensic psychologist testified that Love gets a sexual charge out of violence and cannot be cured. The doctor believes he is a danger to society.

Love is asking to be freed without restrictions.

The trial will continue Thursday.
