Pasco's Road 68 improvement project is about half way done, but the worst of the delays are just getting started.

An overhaul of traffic lights is happening this week at the intersections of Burden Boulevard and Convention Drive, as well as Road 68 and Wrigley Drive.

The stop lights will be turned off so watch for flaggers and treat each intersection like a four-way stop.

Once this work is done, crews will move over to Road 68 next week. Traffic will then be down to one lane.

Drivers are not looking forward to it.

"It's a pain now but it'll help us in the future. Its just a matter of time before someone's gonna get killed, there's gonna be more accidents," said John Berry.
