Racing down Carmichael hill in Richland
RICHLAND, Wash. - Since we can't show you the Sochi Olympics, why not set up some Olympic events in our own backyard?

Carmichael hill in Richland was the venue. The event: sledding. The distance: about half a football field.

We had three contestants for the ultimate prize of bragging rights, Sarah Green, Stevie McAdie and Dylan Fies. Our own Frances Watson was the referee and on camera duty.

Now after a lengthy race that lasted almost ten seconds, it was Stevie McAide by a raft who takes home the gold, Dylan with the silver.

The true trooper was a young man who gets taken out by a sled.
