BENTON COUNTY, Wash. -- The murder trial will go forward for a young man accused of killing his friend last summer. Josh Hunt is one of two people accused of premeditated murder.

The 19-year olds are accused of taking turns shooting Josh Snapp last year on the Fourth of July.

The state wants to use taped testimony from the doctor who performed the autopsy.

The prosecutor intends to move forward even if the court doesn't allow that in, based on a confession.

"The defendant says he lured Mr. Snapp out to a remote area then he shot him in the chest and he shot him in the head, gave the gun to Mr. Young and Mr. Young shot him in the head," explained Andy Miller.

Hunt's accomplice, John Young, is set for trial in March.
