Kennewick woman arrested driving nearly 100 mph in Oregon
UMATILLA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE MEDIA RELEASE - On August 4, 2014, at about 10:30am, UCSO arrested Sharlene Raynae Foltz, age 48, of Kennewick, WA for reckless driving and other charges.

Deputy Jason Post saw a white, 2012 Kia Optima sedan traveling south on
Hwy 11, about 7 miles north of Pendleton, at nearly 100 miles per hour. The vehicle also made dangerous passes on several cars, some through no passing zones. Deputy Post and Deputy English stopped the Kia just north of
Pendleton.

Foltz was driving, and had one very scared, adult male passenger in the vehicle. Foltz said she wasn’t sure how fast she was driving. Foltz also claimed she was unaware that she was driving dangerously, because she was in a heated argument with her passenger.

The deputies found no evidence that either Foltz or her passenger were under the influence of intoxicants.

Deputy Post lodged Foltz in the Umatilla County Jail.
