KENNEWICK, Wash. - A suspected drunk driver flipped his car over the railing south of the Blue Bridge Monday. Everyone was okay, and witnesses are still amazed.

Troopers tell KEPR the Richland man was speeding on Highway 395 when he cut off a motorcyclist and hit another car.

The suspected drunk driver spun out and sailed over the guard rail. A dog was thrown from the car.

Witnesses say it flew about 30 feet and landed on all four paws.

Cody Dircksen was hit by the suspected drunk driver. He said, "He was going way over the speed limit, anything could of happened and I was just hoping it wasn't the worst."

The 44 year old man driving was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

The dog is okay.

Traffic was slow for about an hour in the area.
