Accused murderer to stand trial next month
FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash. - A Pasco man charged with the brutal murder of his roommate has one week to decide if a jury or judge will hear his case.

Joseph Hart was part of an outpatient mental health housing program when he was charged with killing 53 year old Rodger Lincoln.

Hart pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity, but he was found fit to stand trial.

This is a three-strikes case. Even if Hart takes a plea deal he faces life in prison without parole.

His trial will get underway next month.
